We’re offering in-person field trips on Thursday, September 9th!
Itching to get outside? Want to explore more of the Grand Bay NERR? We are offering small group field trips led by NERR staff and volunteers. To space everyone apart and give each group the best, most immersive experience possible, we’ve got three different options for our Research Symposium guests! Each field trip will last 1.5 to 2 hours, and post-field trip lunch at the building is included. Register by clicking the “Field Trip Registration” button at the bottom of this page.
Kayaking
Director’s Assistant Sandra Bilbo will lead guests on a scenic kayaking trip on Bayou Heron to visit our northernmost water quality station and maybe even a shell midden! This trip will begin with check in at 8:30 am and end at 11:00 am.
Available space: CANCELLED| updated 9/8/2021 9:40 AM
