Description:
Identifying plants year-round can be challenging. Often the key indicators such as flowers or leaves are absent or unreliable. This 3 day field intensive course will introduce you to the identification techniques Dr.Robert Mohlenbrock has developed to overcome these challenges.
The pine savannas and wetlands of coastal Mississippi boast plant biodiversity rates that rival the tropical rain forests. Participants in this workshop will come to appreciate the number of plants that can be found in just a few square feet of coastal habitat. Come prepared to take lots of notes and dressed for the outdoors!
